My goal is to provide a place for sincere people who are looking for love to find happiness. We are free and will continue to be so as long as we can afford to maintain the site. Abusers increases the cost of running a site by eating up the resources and stealing from the site. In most cases, members are here for the right reasons, however, a free site has its share of those who will use the site for their own personal gain and spoil it for everyone else. Just ask free sites like facebook, myspace, etc, and they will tell you that they get more than their share of abusers.
Here at Filipina Lady, we have no objection when members exchange personal emails if they are looking for love. But there were some who was using our site to try to steal members. This was costing me advertising dollars which is a precious commodity since we operate as a free site. I had to do something and the only way to try to stop unethical people stealing from my site was to filter out contact info. For months, I tried to find another solution to no avail while they kept stealing. I can't afford for it to continue so I had to take filtering measures that effects all members when putting contact info in their messages to stop those who were abusing the site.
When a person joins our site, there is no way to know before they join if they are sincere or not. Just like sincere members, when unethical people join they always put in their profile they are here to find love. But of course once their membership is approved, they use the site for their own personal gain. It is only after they join the site, they commit their dirty deed and by then it is too late to stop them. When someone does use the site for personal financial gain or asking you to join another dating site, our hope is that the member reports the abuse so we can stop them from abusing the site further.
I hope I can find better ways to filter out the sincere members from the unethical ones, but for now this is the only way.

p.s. the good news is that the vast majority of the members are here to find love. But it only takes a few bad apples to spoil it for everyone else. Their tactics are relentless but I will never give up trying to stop them.
