Every once in a while, I get an email from a lady member
saying a man has promised her the world. Not love, but things like a
good job, money for her family, etc. In exchange, she is to take care
of his house or children, etc. If you see a man using this site for
this reason, please report it.
The normal scenario is the man
promises the world, but before he can get your visa to come live with
him, he needs you to send money for processing fees. His story my
change, but the bottom line, he asks for money.
The problem
with scammers, is that a webmaster can delete their account, but they
can join again using a different email address and username. Even
banning their IP address is no guarantee since they can use a proxy to
change their IP. Consequently, I can delete someone who is scamming,
but I can't guarantee they will not disguise themselves and join again.
All I can do is give other members a heads up and let them decide if
they want to interact.
