It is nice to get an email when two people find love. There are times I will get an email saying something like:

"Thank you so much for your website. I found the lady of my dreams. We are both so happy. Please remove our accounts from your site

Thank You
David"

I usually reply back thanking them for letting us know they found love on one of ours sites. In this case, I  asked the member, what is his username and the username of the lady he met. Why? I can't delete his or her account unless I can find it. There are tons of Davids, so I need something unique like a username.

This is common. I will get an email from someone telling me they are having a problem with their account and if I could please fix it. That's it. I have no idea what the problem is and I have no idea whose account it is I should try to fix - :)

Usually these mysterious emails drove me crazy and  throughout the day I would try to figure out who they were from.  No more! It is too time consuming. I may reply asking for more details, but if I don't get a reply with a least a clue of who and what, there isn't too much I can do.

Why it bothered me so much, is because I never wanted a member to think I wasn't willing to help. But after getting hundreds of such emails, I come to the conclusion that there is one of me and hundreds of members so asking for  a little detail should not be asking too much. Oh well, that is just me.

Chalk this discussion up to the mystery happenings that makes online dating what it is. Fun and crazy at times!
