![]() Most online dating webmasters find it confusing why a member wouldn't want to take the time and put together the effort to ensure both their image and profile are reflective of their qualities and seriousness in their quest for love. But when I look at a number of my member's profiles, the lack of effort is obvious. In certain cases, the content of a member's profile is as simple as, "I'm looking for love" and that's it. Not much to go on for somebody who may be checking out profiles probing for their match. What I call "the beautiful people" will more than likely rely on their image without putting a great deal of thought in their words. They think that their looks is all they need to discover the love of their life. I must admit they do get their share of emails, but if they have little to say in their profile, they usually have just as little to declare in their email replies. For guys, the one sentence profile might be even more fatal than it is for the ladies. Lady members look more carefully at male profiles trying to find that ideal match. If a male's endeavor is fairly inept, a lot of ladies will assume his efforts in a relationship will be just as terrible. Laziness is not a quality that most women find appealing. They are searching for a man who is reliable, caring, will care for her like a lady and will go that additional mile if need be. A profile with hardly any words usually don't convey enough info for a lady to locate the man of her dreams. What's a good quality image? It should be clear, you can see your face and recent. An image that is more than a year old in all probability should not be posted as a profile image. If you have an personal gallery with your account, this is the place to publicize images of your child hood days, your family or you in an action shot where the focal point is on the action, not your face. But your profile image should show a picture of you with a clear shot of your face and as current as possible. Size may also be an issue. A lot of dating scripts watermark their images and if the image is too small, it may not be able to mark the photo and good chance the image will be discarded. The content of your profile is nothing more than you telling others your likes and dislikes while at the same time revealing to them the traits you are looking for in your quest for that special person to share life with. I don't want to put a number on how many words are required, but if all you can say is "I'm a man" than you should move on. If you are a member of an Asian dating site or any kind of online dating site, you may possibly want to take a look at your profile and be sure you have done your best. On the whole profiles of a dating script can be edited and updated as need be. Don't over look the importance of both your profile image and content when searching for love.
